Client: Initial Consultation
The client, a male in his 70s, used to be a client at our Albert St. location prior to lockdowns. Late in 2020 the client reached out to our FFF Virtual team for personal training that he could do from home that would increase his cardio fitness. The client’s main goal was to move more and to do so on a consistent basis, as his previous attempts at using YouTube videos were not enough to keep him accountable to these goals, nor were they suited for his abilities.
Trainer: Programming
The client was assigned to Victor, from our Albert St. location. The client had previously worked with Victor so this was a natural fit.
Victor started by gathering information about the space that his client had available to him at home. The client had a few dumbbells, but most of the program would have to rely on bodyweight workouts and making the most of the space available.
The program Victor designed focused on keeping the client’s heart rate up since the primary goal was to improve his cardio fitness.
All of the exercises at the beginning of the program worked for the client, with the exception of one, which was slightly too high-impact for him. Victor quickly changed the exercise and the two have been going strong for the last month and a half.

Client: Results
Victor has been blown away by the progress and determination of this particular client. Every time Victor increases the timing of an exercise, this client is up for the challenge. This means that after a month and a half of training, this client has doubled the amount of time he is performing each exercise, but his sessions remain within the 30-minute timeframe because he requires shorter breaks than he used to!

Many people assume that training online cannot compare to in-person training, but this client shows that because of these sessions he’s managed to stay consistent, work hard, and improve his fitness week after week.
When the client is able to return to the gym, he plans on going back to the Albert St. location to work on his strength training goals. Victor can’t wait to have him back and to continue pushing the client to his limits.
