I stumbled upon some fantastic questions on Reddit recently, and I thought, why not share them since these are common questions many people have when starting their fitness journey?
Question:

Answer:
Yes! But, try to aim for 150 minutes of brisk walking (slightly elevated heart rate and breathing) per week to hit the daily recommended guideline for aerobic activity.
Question:

Answer:
Weighing yourself every day can be a double-edged sword. While it provides immediate feedback, daily fluctuations can be infuriating. Factors like hydration, meals, and stress can influence the scale. If the number causes you stress, I’d recommend weighing yourself bi-weekly or weekly. Look for trends over time rather than fixating on daily numbers.
Question:

Answer:
Soreness may be caused by the start of a new program, but if you’re super sore after every workout I’d definitely ask them about their habits. Do you think you’re eating enough or getting enough protein? Do you sleep between 7-8 hours a night? Are you drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water? If they answered no to any of those, I’d recommend focusing on perfecting that habit. And if they’re still sore, the training intensity may be too high and they’d actually see better results if they dialed it back a notch!
