Colin Greene
After finding success, passion, multiple MVP awards, and winning the league championship in football from my youth until 20 years old, I gained valuable insight into what effort it takes to reach peak performance through diet, weightlifting, and sports training. I learned valuable leadership skills being one of the team captains and how to motivate and hold others accountable. In my final season, serious injuries were mounting, and the final injury was a complete separation of my shoulder that ended my football journey. After that, I went on to the working world and, through time, discovered how nagging previous sports-related injuries can linger, how distracting and demoralizing it can be, and how it can hold you back…especially if you’re not on top of things. Training and thinking like an athlete was no longer the solution, and I had to begin to adjust the way I moved, the way I exercised, my nutrition, sleep routine, stress management, recovery protocol, and management of pain and learning the know-how for how to work around pain and with it. At this point in my life, I now lead a healthy and highly reduced pain lifestyle that has ultimately increased my quality of life, making me much more productive with my daily living. I now actively help others gradually feel better with their body inside and out.
