A fresh start
Spring is a time of renewal and when 22-year-old Eamonn was looking for a fresh start this May, he found what he needed at Free Form Fitness.
“A lot of my friends go to the gym and I would join them from time to time, but I didn’t really know what I was doing or have the confidence to try harder exercises or the patience to stay committed to a plan.”
And that’s the case for most of our clients at Free Form Fitness. They understand that fitness is important, but they need an entry point.
“Free Form is great because they tailor your workout specifically to you and your goals. When you go in, they have the workout ready and you just do what your trainer says.”
As his sessions progressed over the spring with this trainer Jesse, his confidence grew and he could start seeing real results.
“I’ve lost 15lbs and 4% body fat since I started. I’m on track to get down to 200lbs and have abs by the end of the summer.” Eamon shares with a smile and a confidence knowing that it’s possible.
Eamonn’s diet has also changed–but without as much effort as he thought.
“When you’re working out regularly, it makes you crave healthier food. I’ve reduced a lot of sugar from my diet.”
FFF’s focus on eating whole foods and real protein typically becomes ingrained in our client’s heads when they’re making food choices.
“My trainer spent most of my early sessions making sure my form was perfect. Once I gained the confidence and started adding weight and seeing results, it was a game changer, there’s no going back now.”
Eamonn is starting school in Waterloo to study Urban Planning in the Fall. Since he finished his 8 introductory sessions, he’s been meeting with his trainer twice a month and working out with his friends with a new found confidence that’s giving him lasting results.
As Eamonn looks towards a new chapter, he’s going to look back on his time at FFF as one of overcoming hurdles and creating lasting healthy fitness habits that he can carry with him for the rest of his life.
