1. Set yourself a big hairy audacious goal.

Les Brown says; “Most people fail not
because they aim too high and miss but
because they aim too low and hit or
don’t aim at all.” Don’t just aim to lose ten
pounds aim higher.

2. Set yourself three realistic habits
you will adopt and stick to no matter what
This could be to limit sweets to twice a
week. Perform some form of exercise
three times a week or making sure you
never miss breakfast.

3. Get someone to hold you accountable
No one stays motivated one hundred percent
of the time. Motivation comes in waves and having
someone like a friend, family member or
personal trainer help lift you up in those low
motivation times will help you stay on track.

4. Consume most of your carbohydrates for the day
after your exercise. Carbohydrates are energy and excess
energy gets stored when not being used. Where does
that excess energy get stored? In your fat cells.

5. Consume protein four times a day if you’re a
women and six times a day if you’re a man. This
will allow your body to continually be in a positive
nitrogen balance and improve glucagon secretion
helping you build muscle and burn fat.
