The Best Sleeping Position
To avoid stress and strain on your spine and spinal nerves, sleep either on your back or side. If sleeping on your back, be sure not to prop your head and neck up by using more than one pillow. Try placing a pillow between your knees when lying on your side. Sleeping on your stomach is never a good idea as it will cause prolonged periods of stress on spinal joints and can lead to discomfort, stiffness, and nerve compression.
A healthy spinal alignment when sleeping will allow you a more restful night’s sleep, leading to a more refreshed and energetic you in the morning!
